I think the idea of like hardcore Japanese anime or whatever is stupid . But I appreciate great story’s and plots . Everyone says to watch invincible . How much of a true “anime” is it

Like is it just a crazy story that happens to be animated ? Can I watch it while not being into animated shows ? Is the story that good ?

I guess in totality

Can people who don’t care for anime and shows like attack on titan get into invincible?

    Its western animation, nothing like anime. Think more of the cartoons you watched like OG Teen Titans or Ben10. Invincible is a superhero story based on a comic and in sum, it’s a fucking great story. Try it out for a few episodes or check the comic first if you want, that will probably get you invested

    This guy is trolling right? Honestly bro if you don’t like animated stuff and never watched them in your child hood, don’t watch invincible. You don’t know what anime is so how can you hate it? What did you watch?

    Ironically Invincible is more like an anime than most animation in the West since it is a direct adaptation of a comic, the same way most anine are adapted from the Japanese equivalent manga.

    That being said reading your comments I don’t really get your specific beef with anime, if it’s just a style issue you can find any number anime with a style you probably would like.

    They’re just a means to an end. It’s just like watching a cartoon. If you can appreciate good stories or plots you should be able to consume any medium to see it.

    Hopefully enjoying this show is a start for you to appreciate this stuff more.
