Quite honestly I can’t stand only a few books that I’ve read, recently The Awakening by Nora Roberts.
Holy crap, do I reallllyyyyy want my money back. I was bored. So. Bored. The magic system was subpar, the characters just….ew, everything was so, so boring. The MC is an idiot.
What book is a zero star read for you?
The memoir of a retired department store detective. Thankfully it has only been published in Finnish, so we’re talking about a minimal market, which reduces the potential for causing suffering.
His text oozed such misanthropy and arrogance I thought it best for my mental health to stop reading after leafing through to check if it changes pace (it doesn’t) and chuck it in the recycling bin.
