Quite honestly I can’t stand only a few books that I’ve read, recently The Awakening by Nora Roberts.
Holy crap, do I reallllyyyyy want my money back. I was bored. So. Bored. The magic system was subpar, the characters just….ew, everything was so, so boring. The MC is an idiot.
What book is a zero star read for you?
The Unheard by Nicci French. It’s trying to be a yay girl power no one believed her and they called her crazy but she was right! kinda thing but the main character is an idiot who was legitimately acting crazy and only via eye rollingly contrived plot twists was she proven right. I was actively angry at the book by the last 1/3 or so.
