Quite honestly I can’t stand only a few books that I’ve read, recently The Awakening by Nora Roberts.
Holy crap, do I reallllyyyyy want my money back. I was bored. So. Bored. The magic system was subpar, the characters just….ew, everything was so, so boring. The MC is an idiot.
What book is a zero star read for you?
When I first heard about it, I didn’t realize what it was, or I wouldn’t have read it either.
I’m just relieved that I was able to borrow it from the library and avoid putting any money into their greedy little hands.
I didn’t know, but, did you know that Ms. Lee actually gave Gregory Peck her father’s watch for his portrayal of Atticus?
They interviewed his grandson–apparently the families had stayed in touch–and he said that had he known in advance, he would have got in touch and told her not to do it.
I believe I also heard that preparations were being made of “elder abuse” but that the prosecutor who was consulted said there wasn’t sufficient proof. Shameless.
