Quite honestly I can’t stand only a few books that I’ve read, recently The Awakening by Nora Roberts.
Holy crap, do I reallllyyyyy want my money back. I was bored. So. Bored. The magic system was subpar, the characters just….ew, everything was so, so boring. The MC is an idiot.
What book is a zero star read for you?
“The Guest List” by Lucy Foley.
It’s one of those books with so many good reviews from reviewers you trust that you just stick with it, hating every character and every new chapter. You think that you are the problem for not seeing what everyone else claimed was a great murder mystery. You just know that at some point it MUST get better. Then it just ends and you realize that you just wasted your book reading time on a piece of shit.
