I am just watching the episode when the sister comes to Istanbul and is invited to dinner. Yeah might be totally scripted, but no matter how much I dislike Sarper, I think it is totally disrespectful and just bottom line bad manners to come to get to know a new person, start picking a fight and then leave without even having the dinner. The guy actually went throught to have all the trouble of preparing the dinner, even mentioned how it is special to him as something his father/grandfather used to make. Atleast respect your host by appreciating his effort and try to be nice. There is a time and place for everything and especially there is a way to speak your mind without sounding hostile. I hate the guy for what i have seen, but that was streight forward attack towards a person she did not ever actually meet before and therefore just bad manners. I would get defensive too.

I am somewhat upset at Shekina’s sister to put me in the position of having to defend Sarper, an otherwise undefendable human being. How she treated him at that visit was rude and disrespectful and Sarper kept it together better than I probably would have under the same circumstances.

Exactly! And the fact that he was the one having to apologize for his behavior.
