Todd and Yolanda. I get why they did it, and the lesson Todd learned was important to his development. Which was a great lesson that isn’t often talked about with LGBT+ characters in media, but that most LGBT+ people have to learn by going through it. That just because two people are the same sexuality and in spitting distance of each other doesn’t mean they should be together.
But I just hate Yolanda. Like as a character she’s boring and flat. She seemed more like a vehicle to teach Todd than an actual character. Which is pretty unfair when every other protagonists love interests are actually fleshed out, even if their purpose in the story is to teach the protagonists a lesson. Aside from that the episodes with Yolanda were just so skippable. I just with Todd and Yolanda’s storyline was better.
