My least favorite story arc was Bojack’s cancellation.

I always felt that he was a broken person. His punishment for his misdeeds was living in misery with himself and his awful memories. Not necessarily deserving of prison but he certainly paid a price in his own life and I his social life. All of his misdeeds have nuance and mitigating factors

I think the root cause / blame for Sara Lynn belongs with her parents for pushing her into an adult environment with inadequate supervision.

I always like Bojack even though he’s an unreliable asshole. I kept waiting for Bojack to fix himself, that’s where I thought the show would go after he got out of rehab.

A lot of viewers feel he was responsible for Dr champ but he also tried to prevent it from happening and when he was too late, he tried to shield dr champ.

Doing the second interview was pure hubris especially since a competent manager advised him not to do it. Was his heart too big? He thought he would be helping other addicts.

So to a large extent, Bojack brought the shitstorm down on himself. But I feel the consequences were too harsh for an ultimately likable character.
