Maybe I shouldn’t be, this series definitely thrives in suspension of disbelief, but if Mark and Nolan have their powers from Viltrum, where do everyone else’s powers come from? Are humans just evolving to be superpowered very occasionally? Are there more alien species that are having children with humans? If so that opens up a whole raft of questions too.
Am I thinking about this too hard? I’ve only seen the show and have not touched the comics although I am easily peer pressured.
The Atom Eve special confirms that genetic mutation is a thing and happening, so that’s one way.
We’ve also got confirmation that at least two of the superheroes are Martians.
Then there’s Green Ghost who takes a pill of sorts to get her powers.
Robot is born with extreme high level IQ, hence his suit and skills.
Other than that, I don’t think there’s been other confirmations of the origins of peoples powers.
