Okay, so I finished the show a couple days ago and I can’t help but think that the last episode is some kind of metaphor or what Bojack sees after his death, because I’m sure that he died in the view from halfway down. I believe that how each character acts is the impression Bojack has from them. The most clear example is that PC invites Bojack to her industrial wedding (or however it was called, I don’t remember) and not her real one, but I’m sure that she would invite him to her real wedding. I don’t know, I’d like to know what other people think about it

he did not die. if you don’t skip the credits, you can hear his heartbeat start again at the end of the view from halfway down

I don’t think he died. I never did. It just doesn’t make sense to me. If he died, then what’s the point? Isn’t the point of this specific story about how he has to face his consequences to be truly at peace? At the start, he was a rich, famous horse, but he was a miserable piece of shit that’s toxic to himself and everyone around him. In contrast, at the end, he’s a prisoner who lost all of his wealth and fame, but he’s calm, peaceful, and might even be happy, and he doesn’t hurt anybody around him anymore, at least not as much as he used to.

There’s also this little message that goes along the main one too: Life goes on. That would also be completely nullified if he died.

No. Bojack didn’t die. The whole point is the show is that sometimes life sucks and you keep on living. Him dying would render that moot.
