    I know in canon they’re both supposedly straight but I’m fascinated by the idea of what a romantic relationship between Bojack “I always wanted the grand gesture on TV” Horseman and Mr “I’ll surprise you with an entire room” PB would have been like. Definitely would have imploded terribly but I’m curious to know how

      Idk it would HAVE TO implode… and I’ve never thought about this before this very moment… but i think they’ve got a serious chance at sustaining their romantic relationship longer than Mr. PB’s previous marriages.

      This would be in an alternate storyline where Bojack wasn’t annoyed with Mr. PB when they first met though, they’d have to be casual friends, not rivals, and then, one “stuck in an elevator” type of episode and BAM! Right in the kisser.

      Nothing bad ever happens on the Labrador Peninsula!

    But seriously I think PB had some kind of feeling for Bojack buried in himself. Not that he reconigzed or that he is bi/gay/pan.

    It is funny, but would not make a good relationship at all. I also think both of those characters are painfully straight and I don’t see any chemistry

    It would either go really really well, or really really terribly wrong cause they’re literally the opposites of each other but are both not ‘‘good’’

    So either they cancel each other out, or they only get worse

    Peanutbutter could help bojack, bojack could bring peanutbutter down

    I feel like peanutbutter is ‘‘positively toxic’’ and Bojack is ‘‘negatively toxic’’, they’re both full of themselves and are usually dismissive about the damage they’ve done or what they did wrong (I couldn’t find a better word as toxic English isn’t my first language)

    That would actually work really well (if they were not straight and attracted to eachother).

    Bojack often spirals negatively and pushes everyone away or brings them down. Mr PB would never give up on him, wouldn’t be dragged down emotionally when bj is sad, and might even be able to help bj be happier and form new healthy habits and do the work to process his trauma.

    Bojacks too old for him but apart from that they’d be cute lol
