Here are my reasons. From all the spoilers I read and the previews I watched. Here’s why:

  1. Things take a turn for the worse for Bojack and his friends in their own individual ways
  2. The Gang all spilts up. I loved seeing Bojack, Mr. Peanutbutter, Princess Carolyn, Todd, and Diane be a ragtag team.
  3. Diane should’ve moved to a better place than Chicago.

Once I am done with season 5, I will not watch the final season.

    1. That’s arguable, sure Bojack takes a downfall, but without getting into it, there is some hope for him being a better person. Additionally, the other characters get satisfying endings, and some of them get the best character development they get in the entire show.

    2. The gang does split up, but for a good chunk of the episodes, the characters do get back together, and help each other out, especially Todd, PC, and Diane.

    3. Part of Diane’s character development is that she is so far from L.A., and Chicago is perfect for her characterization for this season. Also, just keep watching, you might be happier with where she ends up living.

    4. Honestly, yeah. An additional season would help flesh out some of the character arcs, plotlines, and new characters. However, with what was happening behind the scenes this season was the best it could be.

    I really hope you change your mind as season 6 is easily one of the greatest seasons of the entire show.
