I thought Season 3 was a massive flanderization of Roy YMMV. Roy was perfection in season 1 and the highlight of season 2. And a shell of his own self and a weird made up plot point character in season 3
agreed. i don’t mind this scene but there were a few that took Roy way too back. i mean, Ted , Rebecca, Keeley and Jamie had some relapses to their older issues, which seemed to be done on purpose as part of their arcs,
but Roy was way too much of a caricature of his old self a few times in s3. but i guess i kind of forgave the writers when
they didn’t reward him and instead made him, SPOILERS, end up rejected by Keely and in therapy. that was fitting, considering how he was in s3.
