    It immediately reminded me of my favorite episode of Tom and Jerry, Mouse in Manhattan. I didn’t care much for the episode though. The scene in Mouse in Manhattan where Jerry is dancing with the plastic figurines on top of the building has been etched into my DNA. Nothing in Fish out of Water really comes close to that.

      the pitch/sound waves/cadence/etc of the fish speak is really?? intense esp if it’s just on in the background bc all the subtext sound is like urgent/needs attention/feels like enemy or combat music in a video game so idk i’m on edge if i’m not actively watching so i always skip that episode when im in a binge / just have it playing in the background

    so i watch and rewatch through several lenses and the next one i want to pay attention to is bojacks rebirth

    this guy watched a father give birth while on a bus in motion and then helped a baby with supportive para language, i wonder what affect it had on bojack, but out of 10+ “rewatches” (including sleeping and not active watching) i’ve only seen this episode 1.5 times. i skip it bc i’m not usually watching from or for bojacks pov. one day i will though…
