From what I read online, there are 5 south park episodes that are not publicly available to view. Why exactly were these episodes banned? From what I read, it is due to depictions of Muhammad, but I feel like there is more to it.

its only about the prophet muhammad thats it theres no real reason behind it however muhammad is seen in the opening credits of various episodes in season 14

Yeah it pisses me off that those religious zealots get to determine the rules for people that don’t even follow their religion.
Just Muhammad. They are the only ones banned because they will suffer actual physical retaliation. Cartoon Wars 1/2 was making this very point. 200/201 was the same thing except poking fun at that bear even harder, which is why they censored Muhammad in 201.
Super Best Friends was poking fun at Scientology’s cultish status, and Muhammad was representing Muslims, which I actually thought was pretty cool, even now.
