I noticed that last episode when the super dog stops by Mark’s dorm. Mark takes him outside the dorms and they’re just floating there while students walk underneath and no one looks up!
But vision doesn’t work perfectly straight like that. Even if you never tilt your head and look up, just glancing around and you do see the ‘up’ further away at the edge of your vision. It’s not directly in your vision but it would be noticeable and cause you to actually look up to see what you glimpsed.
Sure- but you’re not gonna see them above your vision if you’re directly under them, like the college students were. The only way they see Mark and Seance Dog is if they look straight up.

and then he starts to glow. Someone would notice a weird green light hovering right outside the dorm.
That dumbfounded me, or am I the strange one who always looks around me?
you check out what’s going on 40 feet above an empty football pitch often?
No, you’re not strange- but I bet you don’t look up. We as humans don’t have a lot of reason to, generally.
Who knows, you might look up a lot- but most people might look around, but not up.
