When I think about Bojack Horseman a scene that always sticks out to me is when Bojack and Diane really get into it. Why? It’s one of the few times in media where we see friends fight and it’s not for petty reasons, it felt really real. You could tell Diane definitely wanted Bojack to get better and Bojack was being an ass. When Bojack pulled the victim card Diane fired back with Sarah Lynn and he immediately lost his footing in the argument. Eventually Diane just had to walk away because that’s all she could do. I wish we had more fights like that. I’m currently writing a series where a similar fight happens.
Scenes like these warrant Bojack as the realest adult dialogue in cartoon media or something
