Everything feels so rushed this season. Last season we got a ton of character development for so many cool characters. And watched the plot move along slowly as the characters learn what the viewers know about Nolan.

This season feels so fast. I feel like these first 4 episodes could have taken a full season themselves. I wish we could have seen mark realize he has much more strength than he thinks and see him holding back in earth before Nolan tells him to stop holding back. I wish we could see more of the guardians struggling to live up to their former glory. I wish we could see mark and Eve fight some more bad guys together. And I would like to see angstroms story drawn out a bit more.

Why does this season need to cover soooo much material?

    I stated in another thread it has given me Secret Invasion vibes with all the talking and lack of action. I loved season 1, I thought season 2 would ramp up the action even more. Hope the next 4 episodes can redeem the first 4 for me.

    The pace this season is ASS. They spend wayyy to much time on useless shit and the cool stuff doesn’t get enough time. Doesn’t help that the season took fucking forever to come out then was moronically splint into two with god knows when part 2 is coming.

    I do enjoy the show but man this could be so much better.

    If the serie is a long run would cover 8 seasons

    Season 1 Guardians of the Globe death. Omni man tries to take over. Robot gets a body.

    Season 2 COP Lore Invincible works With Cecil and the GDA. The GDA struggles with the new Guardians Team. Omniman reunion. Angstrom Levy.

    And see the lots of TBA yet on this season.

    Lizard League fiasco. Levy fake death. Invincible brokes with Ámber. Octoboss Nolan in Viltrumite prission. Invincible vs Cecil.

    Now if they Rush the show we Will get to see Invincible in the blue dark suit in this same season, and may be is the case regarding the Tittle card, but I still doub It. Nothing confirmed in the trailers, and we get to see a few clips that didnt happened yet.

    So if Season 3 wont fell rushed is featured scenarios such as

    The Wolfman Oliver and Maulers altercation. Invincible travels to another future. The Invincilee war. And so on

    I think the pacing’s been mostly fine, but there were some poor decisions in the Thraxa fight (Mark feels way too strong all of a sudden)

    Yeah I was expecting Thraxa to be the season finale. We went from Mark graduating high school and preparing for summer one episode to starting college the next. The entire summer went by apparently without event between episodes.

      Exactly. We went 3 episodes without any new Omni man content. Just flashbacks and they’re taking a break before the other half of season 2. They needed him to make a brutal appearance before the break to keep casual fans invested so they come back and watch the rest of season 2. I get the comic book readers would have been patient but they needed Omni man to retain max viewership

    The pacing of the first three episodes felt fine to me tbh. However, Ep 4 definitely suffered from major pacing issues. If they cut out all the earth stuff and made a Thraxxa only episode, I think the pacing would be much better.
