It was just phenomenal. Everything. Meta jokes; social commentary; genuinely funny. Great “episode”/special.

I think I’m just over the woke and diversity inclusion arguments from both sides, so the jokes and commentary didn’t feel fresh.

Hope that cleared things up for you.

Yeah this is the thing I’m worried about before watching it. I felt like after seeing the poster the jokes would be very predictable. I’m hoping I’m wrong though

I thought they did a good job addressing that aspect as well in a meta way … towards the end after the boys have been bitching about multiverses being lazy shit writing I believe Kyle says something like " yeah but maybe complaining about it all of the time is lazy shit writing too"

Wow, a South Park episode that ends in the characters saying out loud that both sides are dumb and nothing matters. Bleeding edge social satire

Frankly it does feel fresh lol. You don’t get many media products talking about the topic that aren’t definitively on one side or the other.

Something making jokes about both and being like, “Don’t know who’s right here’s some funny shit.”, is unusual nowadays.

It’s fine, I’m just sick of the topic. I enjoyed Randy and the other men not knowing how to do anything because they became complacent, and the AI stuff, and the multiverse fatigue.

One thing that went over my head though is why the kids were all older in the other reality.

More relatable probably, as ‘appeals to everyone’ is the goal there? Target market likely identifies more overall with teenagers/young adults. Or young adults playing teenagers.
