I’ve noticed in both the show and comics is that Viltrumite characters punching straight through the guts. Why is that? Why don’t they punch weaker characters through the ribcage or decapitate them?

    Guts are easier to hit because they are large. Omniman usually goes for the head when its available but if not gut shots will do.

    At the end of the first episode that’s exactly what omniman does to the guardians:

    Crushed head, smashed head, fist through face, smashed head, crushed brain/heart, broken neck (if neck counts as head), decapitated (after a gut shot)
