I used to not count DNF’d books as completed, but recently changed my mind a bit. I feel like if you actively decide not to finish you’ve already completed it in some way. Also allows me to rate and review on goodreads for example. What do you guys do? Do you count them? Is there a certain amount you have to read before you consider a DNF book completed? Or do you not think of them completed at all?

This is utter BS. For whatever reason you decide to actually count the books you read … it supposedly requires of you to have finished those books. You can’t have it both ways, you either stop counting, or you don’t count the ones you haven’t finished. You’re only cheating yourself.

Oh, and an active decision to never finish a book is a lot worse than putting it on a back burner for a time, while you read something else.
