I may be really slow on the uptake on this. But I was just re-watching, and noticed the season 2 episode called ‘Man City’ had a deeper meaning.
In the episode they face off against Manchester City. But it is also the episode that focused on different characters’ fathers, and/or father figures (e.g., Roy to his niece).
Has anyone noticed other deeper meanings in other episode titles?
“Inverting the Pyramid” is a book about the history of soccer/football tactics.
The actual “Pyramid of Success” that’s on the wall was a 1940’s basketball coach dissection of traits successful people should have.
So “Inverting the Pyramid of Success” has that extra super duper meaning of Ted’s own personal tactic with the management of the team.
