Rupert Manning makes an appearance in s2e03! And as evil as ever! What a wanker
Mae is also an alien in 3 episodes of the Eccleston series.
I immediately recognized her but couldn’t recall from where at first. Then it dawned on me about the second time we saw her.
Oh yeah she was! She was a slitheen! Didn’t even recognize her
The first episode of Ted Lasso I was shouting about the Doctor Who villains.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer has entered the chat
Merlin has entered the chat
I finally got my mom to watch the show and she would frequently gasp and yell, “Bad Giles! No!”
This made me lol. Give your mum a Hi5 for me
OH! Wasn’t he the principal of that school where the faculty were aliens or monsters of some kind?
I bet he’s such a nice guy in real life he’s just cursed with lifelong villain face
He was lovely as Giles in Buffy until he tried to kill Spike…
He was very handsome when he was younger. Leading man material.
Roy Kent has also made an appearance, as has Doctor Sharon.
Brett Goldstein was in Jodie Whittaker-era Who and Sarah Niles was in one of the most iconic Tennant-era episodes where she’s one of the interfaces in the library where we first encounter River Song.
I have watched Silence in the Library dozens of times and never made the connection. I watched the episode recently and squealed when I realised.
It’s such a repository of British acting talent - so many familiar faces pop up. I reckon the likelihood of some of the boys in the team showing up in classic Who roles like the 2IC on a space station is pretty high into the future.
I could see Hannah Waddingham doing a fantastic turn as an antagonist either as a one-off or across a season - I’m quite surprised she hasn’t popped up already!
I missed Brett Goldstein in JW Who. What episode?
I hate to be that guy, but his characters name is Rupert Mannion.
I honestly agree with you, irritates me when people can’t seperate the character from the actor
I also agree with that! But I commented because OP originally had “Rupert Manning” in the title.
Whoops my bad, it’s been a while since I watched Ted Lasso.
Never forget the Prime Minister in Little Britain! :D
