I’ll go with the low-hanging fruit: Mein Kampf. I’ve read it, cover to cover. As a piece of propaganda, it’s good. As an example of good writing? Absolutely not (though I will admit I have only read it in translation). Oh, and the whole fascist, racist, and generally shitty worldview of the author that he infuses into the text. And the fact that the author is literally Hitler. You 5-star that book? You’re a Nazi. Period. And as a Jewish person, I don’t look too kindly on them.

I actually swipe left on anyone who is open about loving the Harry Potter books in 2023 because on dating sites that is likely to be a transphobic dogwhistle.

Plus, anyone who rates Harry Potter and the Cursed Child 5/5 stars has no taste in reading. (I know it’s a play but the script was released as a book so it counts).

I agree with this one 100%.

that woman uses the money she gets from Harry Potter royalties to fund her trans bigotry activism according to author herself.she said if people didn’t approve of her TERF actions, they wouldn’t buy her books anymore.

according to the woman herself, the only way she will listen to us telling her she’s wrong for her hatred is a stop giving her money.
