Full disclosure, I am loving Invincible Season 2 so far. The characters, the plot, the voice acting, everything has been super fun and the only real downside is that we have to wait till 2024 for the rest. However, I feel like the animation quality has taken a step down this season, at least in comparison to the first one. Faces don’t seem as emotive, movement often feels choppy (except for many of the fight seasons), and it just feels a little off. Does anyone else feel that way? Was Season 1 the same way, and more of the animation budget was just used for the bigger, more important episodes? Or am I just imagining things? Either way, I can’t wait to finish Season 2!

I noticed that too, to some degree but i didnt really find it that noticeable in the sense it would take me out of the experience

Yeah other people are saying this too, you´re not alone. I´ve also heard that the animation budget could be going into like, Jk simmons’s pockets yk. But personally, I binge watched the show a couple days ago to get back into it, and I didn´t notice a big gap in the animation btwn seasons. Tho to be fair I wasn´t into invincible for the animation quality

Man, I think this is the straw the broke the camels back for me. And I mean this post specifically. I swear I wouldn’t notice or worry about any of the complaints I see on this subreddit, but now I do and it’s all I see.

Gonna unsub now tbh. No slight to you you, op, of course lol. Not blaming but I don’t really enjoy this sub nor does it make watching the show any better.

I do care, but with the constant spoilers (I have read the books, but only once a while back so some stuff is a surprise) to the whining about the smallest things, it’s just too much. To each their own, I won’t knock someone for “caring “ but there’s a fine line between caring and being overly pedantic and toxic.
