Hi everyone, so I don’t have much space for books in my room/apartment at the moment and have resorted to putting my books on my windowsill. I realized that was definitely a bad idea a day later because of the sun, but I unfortunately don’t have anywhere else to put them that won’t look cluttered /be in the way. I was wondering if y’all think covering them up in a blanket would be enough protection?

If you cover yourself in a blanket in the sun, are you likely to get burned? No. You wouldn’t if the blanket didn’t have holes.
You could try just draping a sheet of Mylar over them or even hang the Mylar over the window; it’ll block the uv, but shouldn’t obscure the view too much.
