As the holiday season approaches, I want to hear about everyone’s top book wishes–whether it’s a collector’s edition of an old favorite, a book that has somehow evaded your grasp, a book that has been recommended by a friend, or anything and everything in between. Why are you asking for these books?
For me, I’m hoping to get two books that Mike Palindrome recommended, The Collector by John Fowles and Disgrace by J.M. Coetzee. They both aren’t at my library, and I’ve wanted to read them for a while now.
My partner asked me what books I wanted for Christmas. I figured now was as good a time as any to get started on The Death Collection of Discworld.
She’s picked me up a beautiful hardback edition of Mort.
There are truly beautiful editions that are called the Diskworld collectors library! Did you get those or are there more beautiful editions out there? :) Reminds me I should get a couple on my wishlist
