When mark comes back after the time reset and eve confesses that during the five years he was gone she eventually dated someone else.
I honestly think its understandable her doing it and humanizing for mark that he understood and forgave her. The man had disappeared with no sign for five years and everybody thought he died while she was alone in space with their daughter.
…I don’t think the internet is gonna see it that way and I’m scared about the wave of “those” opinion pieces for just way too damn long.
You guys know the ones

Honestly hope they do something else for Reboot. It’s an interesting story but honestly putting Mark and Eve through that was pretty unnecessary. I know Kirkman is gonna do it anyway, but I can hope

I’m actually in favor of it.
its a fun take on a trope in super hero comics and has some of the biggest consequences of anything in the series.
Its soul crushingly sad but i like it better then just a basic skip forward or something similar

Yea I understand your points OP, but to me it just seems a little cruel to put Eve and Mark through that, especially with the amount of people who dislike the arc entirely

          very fair
Its definitely a “kill your darlings” moment in the writing room. i like how it sets up the final ark for the story but its gonna be rough especially on the back of the robot thing that puts them in space in the first place
