When mark comes back after the time reset and eve confesses that during the five years he was gone she eventually dated someone else.
I honestly think its understandable her doing it and humanizing for mark that he understood and forgave her. The man had disappeared with no sign for five years and everybody thought he died while she was alone in space with their daughter.
…I don’t think the internet is gonna see it that way and I’m scared about the wave of “those” opinion pieces for just way too damn long.
You guys know the ones

You know, I was just talking about this arc with a friend yesterday. Mark’s “reboot” is the only story arc that I really don’t like and it just feels like Kirkman deliberately wanted to be unfair to Mark because that’s how Kirkman likes to write his stories… but this felt particularly erroneous. Obviously just my opinion, but I’d definitely be open to them tweaking this just a bit for the show

I liked reboot but it did feel like means to an end.
im not sure what i would do in its place for the same general effect. i think just waiting in space for five years wouldn’t have the same gut check. and at the very least i don’t think Nolan and Robot would be working as closely together if Mark had been there the whole time.
but im open if you have an idea for how to change it
