I started and finished reading the comic series today. It was a god damn amazing trip. I am glad the adaptation led me to read it.

However I honestly was not prepared how dense the story is. At some point it made me think about how little Amber or William matter in the later stages of the story. I like the changes, it fleshes them them out but i fear that to fit the later stages of the story the TV Amber will be butchered or written out of character. Which will leave a bad taste or worse will tag along somehow.

Also feels a bit like a waste to spend this much screen time on characters that will mean so little for the %90 percent of the actual story.

I read Kirkman says it needs 7-8 seasons to tell the story but a this pace will it be enough?

I think amber will "disappear " in the next season. William could still appear but of course less since there will be way more eve, oliver , robot and monster girl.

But i dont find it as a bad taste. Maybe Mark will even comment on not seeing William anymore
