So in S2 E4, the viltrumites keep mark alive so that he can go back and prepare earth for them. Why don’t they just kill him for obviously not believing in their cause and instead send someone from Viltrum? Are they short on people? And if so, how? Should I just wait and see?

Without spoiling anything all will be revealed in due course. But (spoiler free explanation for the time being) they were essentially surprised a non pureblood viltrumite like mark held his own against them and deemed him worthy of joining their cause and so gave him a chance to redeem himself since they believe they could easily mop the floor woth him if they had to in 100 years if they return and hes not done what they asked
