Why would he write of Viltrumite weaknesses to begin with? He was pretty dedicated to his eventual takeover. So why would he ever write anything which could ever come back to bite him or his people in the ass?

He was documenting their weaknesses for a different mission BEFORE being sent to earth, and then when he was on earth trying to write sci-fi books to make some money he figured he might as well just write about all the space shit he actually did
