Why would he write of Viltrumite weaknesses to begin with? He was pretty dedicated to his eventual takeover. So why would he ever write anything which could ever come back to bite him or his people in the ass?

He was writing about his own life and he never thought humans would be capable of space travel so it would be irrelevant.
Either that or he subconsciously knew he fell in love with earth and was trying to give them a small chance
