Of all the couples I’ve watched on the show, he just does not bring anything to the table. There is nothing redeeming about him. He’s not overly attractive, he’s not kind, he’s not rich, his personality sucks, he doesn’t try with her friends to make a good impression.
I don’t get what she sees in him, he just mocks her and is always looking smug. I can’t stand his face. Also this last episode, why was Ashely just translating while he walked away from her group of friends lmao? She was like narrating his shit talking (which is good I guess) instead of calling him out (not good)
Because she thrives on drama and relishes in the fact he supplies a constant source of “wtf” moments she can exasperatedly recount to her friends and family.
It’s really this. Plus desperation. Which is weird bc she’s actually very cute… but I have a sneaky feeling that a lot of American men are probably not down for her antics, especially the sort of guy she might be into
