Of all the couples I’ve watched on the show, he just does not bring anything to the table. There is nothing redeeming about him. He’s not overly attractive, he’s not kind, he’s not rich, his personality sucks, he doesn’t try with her friends to make a good impression.
I don’t get what she sees in him, he just mocks her and is always looking smug. I can’t stand his face. Also this last episode, why was Ashely just translating while he walked away from her group of friends lmao? She was like narrating his shit talking (which is good I guess) instead of calling him out (not good)
Yes, I am calling him toxic because he is. She’s also toxic in her own way, but it’s more of a detriment to her and that’s her issue. I honestly could give two shits about her talking to her friends in front of him in English because there’s a 90% chance he talks shit about her to his family on the phone when she’s not around because it’s clear he doesn’t like her.
He’s not a good partner, and he’s clearly using her. Making excuses for him and reducing it to “if it was a man” is a weak take because it that point of view is still refusing to hold him accountable. Ashley isn’t perfect and none of the couples on this show are, but this man is a user and a loser. Period.
