As the title suggests, I’ve recently only started the second book (and I haven’t seen any of the tv show, so no spoilers please) but I’m really enjoying the world building and the the fact it’s a fantasy not catered to children or YA. I love the politics and the characters too, and I’m recently a convert to this type of fantasy book as usually I read classics or non fiction/science.

Can anyone recommend similar series? I have read the Richard Swann empire of the wolf series, and James Islington’s the will of the many and also really enjoyed them, if there any more out there like that. I have tried to read Tolkien but if anyone can suggest why it isn’t working for me 😂

It would be lovely to find a series like these ones to get lost in, but that don’t have that YA/children element.

Hopefully that makes sense

Stop reading GoT! It only leads to madness. The author will never finish the series and leaves all the plot lines dangling. Don’t waste your time!
