Just finished watching the last episode of Before the 90 days…and I really think Gino needs a simple, ‘down-home’ girl, and not a lavish Jasmine. They’re spending habits are so different, it’s bound to cause problems. She has extravagant taste and immediately wants to change everything in his home, and he doesn’t have the money for it. Meanwhile, she spent $10,000 of his money on a butt-lift? She’s not frugal at al and just wants what she wants. I don’t see this going well. They’re plenty of humble girls in the U.S who would be perfectly fine with Gino’s kitchen, bedroom etcc
I think Gino has wayyyyy more money than what he leads on. He’s been an automotive engineer for 30+ years for (I’m guessing Ford since he has a Ford explorer) so he should be making close to 100k, said he has over 600k in investments, he lives in an affordable condo, the cost of living in Canton is not high, he buys tv dinners and canned foods, has old furniture/decorations etc. The guy is cheap.
Since their first season he listed things he paid for with her hair extensions and fillers or whatever. He knew what he was getting into. He’ll act like it’s a big deal but always cave in because he wants to say he has a hot girlfriend/wife.
My great uncle was like that - except not creepy and he dressed better. He served in the military and then had a very good paying career with General Dynamics. Lived modestly, was always saving vs spending, had some solid investments etc. When he passed away in 2018, we (family) were shocked at just how much $$ he had squirreled away.
Gino probably would too if he wasn’t into sugar babies. A lot of people have money by living frugally and I’m sure he was doing great. But she will drain him and he will let her until it’s all gone and she leaves him.
He should be making close to double that as a 30 year engineer. He pays minimal for expenses including car, and has as you have pointed out no large expenses we can see, minus Jasmine and travel/legal expenses to get her here. The big three also have great health coverage that is low cost etc so…
Also don’t believe he quit. Most likely took advantage of generous LOA policy and still has protected job to return to unless he had opportunity for buy out.
