I was ten. Stayed up late with a friend to watch it. Even had my 7 year old brother with us. When he called the bus driver a fat bitch, holy shit we were in tears.

It was a new era for me and I loved it. I believe it was new years or another holiday and they showers I think all the first season and I watched it with a group of friends I was maybe 16 or 17 and the vibe was amazing.

No, not one. Its why the show never made it past the pilot. No one watched.

I’m a poser who started watching with “Volcano”. I still can’t imagine what I was doing the previous Wednesday. Randy has been a personal favorite ever since “oh my god, a volcano.”

I remember thinking this is a weird ass show and then chef called the kids crackers and I lost it. Those first couple seasons are still my favorite of the show. When they used to do just weird stories and not current events

One of my good friends back in the day had a cousin at the university of Colorado the same time as Parker and Stone and we got a VHS of that first pilot before the show ever aired, this was in Jr high. Instantly loved it. Been watching ever since.

Absolutely. There was a lot of commercials and ads on Comedy Central leading up to it. I couldn’t wait. Loved it from the start. Even had a Somebody’s Baking Brownies hat from Spencer’s within maybe a month of the first episode. But also it was 25 years ago so I could be off on my hat timeframe. It seems like it went from not existing to being everywhere overnight.

My friend and I used to meet every Wednesday night to watch South Park and record them off the tv onto a blank tape. We had the first 3 seasons on blank vhs.

I do. I loved it immediately. I remember being 14, and a family member gave me a gift card to blockbuster for my birthday that I used to buy the first two vhs tapes of the first several episodes of the show. I was out with my mother and her boyfriend’s daughters, who were about 4 and 7 at the time. They saw I was buying cartoon tapes, and immediately begged my mother to let them watch with me as soon as we got home.

I warned her. I told her that it wasn’t appropriate for them. Tried 3 times. She told me to stop being mean, so I said ok, and started the first tape. And then I watch her face as the first episode started playing. The look of horror as I was proven right was great, and because of who she is as a person, she couldn’t go back on it or turn it off because she’d have to admit being wrong.
