So by the end of the comics there are many viltrumites settled on earth and making babies. My impression is that Mark peacefully expands viltrumite society throughout the universe over time. Since viltrumite DNA overrides the other species DNA (when they’re able to produce offspring), does that mean that over time, viltrumites could become the dominant species everywhere they can successfully interbreed? And that with earth, it’s pretty much a given that this happens?
Viltrumite DNA doesn’t “override” other species. With Earth, Human DNA & Viltrumite DNA is so compatible that their offspring get basically all the benefits/powers from their Viltrumite parents.
But it’s not like that with most species. It’s why humans & Earth are so special-we’re one of the only species that they can reproduce with without making substantially weaker children
