You don’t tell private things about your partners family to friends of yours he barely knows. Also you know he’s a construction worker without a lot of money and he has kids to support while in the US. You don’t shame your partner like this. Even more Manuel is a latino men most Latino men usually want to take care of their wife, parents and children. I know you see Sanky panky from the DR but their culture is different and they are famous for praying on older women or wealthier women. I also would have walked out if people I barely know were talking about my private life.

On her friend’s side if Ashley told them everything and wanted advice they don’t need to confront Manuel or they don’t have to let Manuel know that they know stuff.

    Yes he sucks but the friend was rude and then had attitude when he left. I would have too. That was private business.

    Unpopular opinion but $300 a month to send back that not only takes care of HIS KIDS but fills any voids isn’t unreasonable to me. She knew he can’t work and she knew he had children, how much did she think kids cost $100 per month? Idk if anything it should’ve been discussed beforehand and she needs to stop telling her friends all their business, it’s the quickest way to dissolving the “unity” in any relationship.
