I LITERALLY SAID THIS AS SOON AS I HEARD. I always related Bojack to Matthew Perry. I’m fucking heart broken. What I heard is it was a heart attack RELATED to previous drug use. But who knows yk?
I actually just found out thanks to this post… I’m devastated. Friends is the only comfort show I have aside from Bojack Horseman, it has helped me get through a horrible horrible time in my life… I just can’t believe this. As someone else said, it feels like I lost a friend.
His death wasn’t drug related though, so after the call due to cardiac arrest I’m assuming his death was an accident?
I’ve been reading it this morning and I’m so surprised in the parallels between matt and bo jack. There’s even a photo of matt when he was starting out in 1989 that looks similar to the clothes bo jack wears in his start out comedy gig.
Does anyone know if the writers part based him on Matthew Perry?
