Actor who played Chandler Bing in the beloved sitcom remembered as ‘incredibly gifted’, after reportedly drowning at his Los Angeles home

The similarities are so striking that it seems weird nobody suggested Perry as a model for Bojack.

Perry was obviously both a real person and never as bad as Bojack. My sympathies for those close to him and affected by his death are genuine, he’s scarcely older than me and that feels far too young to die.

    Apart from the fact that they were both in a 90s show and had substance-abuse i don’t really see a lot of similarities. Matthew had pretty steady work after Friends whereas much of Bojack’s character stems from him just being in a sort of limbo ever since his show ended.
