The episode was clearly, unambiguously, directly-to-the-camera criticizing Disney for their lazy pandering.
The episode even opens with a mock Disney logo.
Yes, it also made fun of people who just call everything woke, but I’d say that was about 20% of the criticism.
It also wasn’t just Cartman making the point.
Stan, Kyle, and Kenny also had a problem with Cartman being replaced by a black woman with no explanation. They even distinguish the replacement from fully-developed black characters like Miles Morales.
The Kathleen Kennedy character herself even admits to being lazy and using the Pander Stone.
Good god.
If anyone thinks that, they haven’t been watching southpark for the last several years where they’ve consistently made fun of the laziness and weak state of modern entertainment… Goes way back to the member berries era
