Yeah it’s… a mixed bag. I thought the special was amazing but it also gave fuel to an incredibly toxic group that’s going to miss the entire point and think it proves them right. I’m already seeing new channels I have to block with titles like “South Park DESTROYS woke Disney! Kathleen Kennedy FURIOUS and wants REVENGE!”
yah this poster is absolute shite, but the Marvels will completely bomb. Everyone knows marvel MCU is tanking. I know people will argue, but you can’t deny all the push backs on the movies and shows, cancelled shows, cancelled movies, Iger coming out and saying they need to focus on quality, Fiege’s comments, Alonso getting fired, Daredevil 8 episodes getting shite canned, etc. The trend is going straight down. It is of course because of poorly written scripts and boring ass entertainment. The pandering and “M-SHE-U” is of course true as well but the boring ass movies and shows don’t help.

I don’t get the point in blasting this film? It’s a fucking comic book movie about actual comics that have these female characters in them. It’s not like they took Captain America and made him a girl, Captain Marvel has been around for a long time.

7.1 and 6.3 aren’t that bad, if you eliminate all the 10s and 1s, it’s honestly a decent representation of how people felt about it, myself included. They were fine, not great. One thing I can say I loved about Ms Marvel is that they didn’t kill any of her family for “character growth”
WandaVision is pretty good, Kamala was likable but the show was mid, captain marvel is kinda unlikeable but the movie made a billion. Maybe if they pander harder
