ok but, who made the comment? I don’t think YT comments are any more or less credible than what we read here, unless it was made by someone in the TLC family.

imo, I think that was the amount the cast was earning at the beginning but it goes up if they progress through other seasons and/or spin-offs. Otherwise, I can’t see very many potential cast members being ok with that.
