I got interested in the show seeing Omni man become the first dlc character in the newest Mortal Kombat game, and after watching the first episode I was hooked soo hard. I was like mouth wide open when the guardians of the globe were massacred. I was enjoying the laid back tone of the episode and was wondering where the gore was at because I knew it wasn’t what it looks like on the surface. And watching Invincible learn how to use his powers and FAIL at saving people, was honestly a refreshing take on superhero tropes of always swooping in last second with the save. I don’t think I need to elaborate on why Omni man was able to blow me away with his amazing voice work, his power and brutality, and the mystery that many people are trying to solve with why Omni man would kill the guardians. I just wanted to rant a bit on one of my new favorite superheroes and I think I watched it at the right time with season 2 around the corner!
