I don’t like the boys so i hope not.
I think it just means in terms of a non marvel/DC superhero property that will achieve mainstream popularity and success that rivals them.
I think the Invincible season 2 may have spoilers for the die-hard fans of the invincible Comic series because season 2 is a roadmap there will be some spoilers.
The boys is actually a bit shit.
Invincible gets super gory, even in comparison to season 1.

not even lowkey. invincible has a great comic AND a great show whereas the boys comic is lowkey kind of shit and the show is great because it fixes the comic’s problems

The only thing I can think of that compares it to The Boys is mocking superhero comic tropes. I think it would be better to compare Irredeemable to Invincible and at a certain point Invincible comic change to create a different storyline.

think it means how like the boys show is better or as good as the comic, invincible will do the same which seems pretty obvi from the previous season. feel it will be pretty faithful to the comic which means its gonna be fucking awesome :D
