Bojack is my favorite show and I noticed in one of my many rewatching that in the first episode of season two he struggles to say “what are you doing here” in secretariat. But every episode until the last of season 2 (that I noticed) he said it in the context that the movie needed. It’s one of my favorite things about the show. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this and what they thought it means.

Literally just noticed this as I’m on season 2 now going for my third rewatch. Specifically picked up on it when Diane was waiting for him at his house. The creators of this have so many low key bangers in this show that you have to watch it several times.

I love the way he says it. I say that line almost every day bud sadly no one around me watched BoJack to appreciate it.

Yeah I noticed that too on my last rewatch! I thought that was a cool detail they snuck in but didn’t read much more into it.

I’m now formally trained to notice whenever a character says “what are you doing here?” and “I have half a mind”.
