I will preface this by saying this resort series is my first exposure to them.
Jovi trying to make sense how working away for a month then being home for a month is better than being home daily is absolutely insane. He just loves his time alone to go to all the strip clubs he wants. He is so gross.
And his mom??? Telling Yara how awful it is she lied to him about being on birth control but saying “you made it clear you didn’t want another baby” then yelling they need to communicate more??? You just admitted she made it clear sooo how about you yell at YOUR SON for a lack of listening/understanding skills.

I’m fully prepared to be downvoted for this. I don’t like Jovi at all, his obsession with strip clubs and his alcoholism are truly disgusting. But I don’t necessarily disagree with him on the job issue. The opportunities you have when you are home for a month are invaluable, they can take trips as a family, spend more time together. With Mylah’s age, she goes to bed early, if Jovi works a 9-5 job, he would get home maybe 2 hours before bedtime. That’s not much time actually spent with the whole family together. I absolutely think he should have discussed it with Yara instead of making a unilateral decision, but I don’t really think he was wrong in his choice to not take the job.
I agree with you, but I don’t trust Jovi is actually spending his month home spending quality time with his family. At least on the show, he has shown over and over that his family is not his priority.
That is true. I’m definitely not a Jovi fan, I don’t think he’s a great husband or father, I just wanted to play devil’s advocate for this one issue
