Just started my annual rewatch and I can never say enough about this show. Sometimes, I rave to people about it, realize they wouldn’t appreciate it, and keep it to myself. There is so much about this show that I can’t explain how relatable it feels with the perfect amount of humor simultaneously. Those moments when it hits, it hits (I’m a piece of shit). I truly have never had a piece of television ever make me feel such a way. As someone that has struggled tremendously with mental health I just sit there and take it all in and can’t be more appreciative that there is some form of representation out there of this struggle amongst many other people like myself. Although Bojack’s a celebrity, it somehow almost makes it feel more accurate to ourselves. Anyone else just feel so strongly about this show like it’s in its own special way without a doubt your favorite show ever?

Its such a great show that really digs deep, I always watch this show between Thanksgiving and Christmas to drown out everybody’s joy and get thru my depression during that time of year.

The part where Herb refuses to forgive Bojack hits me hard. I have always felt entitled to forgiveness and when people refused to do so, I felt betrayed. Seeing this show made me realise how wrong I was and it changed me for good.

Watching this show it’s like “oh my gosh there’s other people out there who feel out of place and misunderstood in the same way I do? So much so that they wrote a tv show that perfectly encapsulates my experiences in this world? And other people relate to this as well? I’m not alone?”

It’s profound. It’s a show that completely changed my life for this reason.
